Letterpress Art

My background in text and communication, has always been balanced by my love for image and visuals.

The act of creating printed works that explore the connections between words and pictures was an eventual natural step to take.

Each work ignites its own conversation with the viewer.

Using traditional letterpress techniques alongside painted and photographed images, my work combines the emotional feeling of imagery with the physical qualities of type, ink and paper.  

 

All the works are based on words and images, with each element building the message, leaving room for individual interpretation.
